Kranjcar proved Tottenham's match-winner for the second successive week as the north London club recovered from going a goal down. The Croatia international thumped home a 57th-minute volley to snatch all three points at the Stadium of Light after Michael Dawson had cancelled out the Black Cats' lead a minute before the break. Asamoah Gyan had put Sunderland ahead with his 10th goal of the season after 11 minutes, but Spurs rallied to claim a victory which sent them back into the Barclays Premier League's top four. |
